This is the original colored version of the "Family of Doom" piece. I wanted to post this because there is a certain contrast that was lost when I added the foreground heat effects. Ultimately, the goal of this piece was to give it sort of an armageddon-ish or "looming doom" feel. I opted in the end to give it sort of a heated look, as though they were in a volcanic area, hence the heat effects in the originally posted piece.

I like this variation because the characters are a bit cooloer and the warm colors are more looming in the background. In either case, it's a color study I watned to share with you guys!
